Triple B Ranches

Winemaker Chris Broomell represents the fourth generation of his mom Debbie Broomell’s family to occupy and work this ranch. Originally citrus and hay farmers, they began adding wine grapes about 20 years ago. The main site where the winery and tasting room are located sits on Vesper Road. There is another plot planted in Pauma Valley. Their farming practices are essentially organic. The winery gets so cold in the winter that the wines naturally cold stabilize, making fining and filtration unnecessary. Rhone grapes are the focus but there is Vermentino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc, because that was Chris’ Grandma’s favorite. (The vineyard is also referred to as Hagata Vineyard) http://triplebranches.com/index.html
