Linda and Mike McWilliams purchased San Pasqual Winery in 2009. They operate the winery and tasting room in La Mesa, tasting rooms in Le Mesa Village and Seaport Village, as well as Toast Bubble Bar right next door in Seaport Village. Originally a speech pathologist, Linda went back to school at UC Davis to learn how to make wine. Mike was an industrial psychologist in his past career and now attends to the business side of the winery.
They purchase a wide array grapes from a variety of vineyards all over California in addition to those found in San Diego County. They make around 4000 cases annually. Many of the wines consistently win medals at competitions.
