Stay Classy Selections arose from a former sommelier’s desire to put San Diego on the map as a world class wine destination. The very first wholesale distributor to feature San Diego County wines, she gravitates towards Earth friendly, responsible farming and minimal intervention in the cellar, but values transparency over dogma.
Tami Wong – Owner
A lifelong veteran of restaurants, Certified Sommelier Tami Wong was the second San Diegan to be chosen by Wine & Spirits Magazine as one of the six Best New Sommeliers in 2014. In 2015, she received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for her list at Juniper and Ivy. She is a founding member of Nat Diego, San Diego’s first natural wine festival. She serves as the Vice President for Women’s Wine Alliance. Mira Costa and San Diego State University alumni, Tami is all in on San Diego.
